Understanding Google's Choices (Google policies)

1. Normal email at Gmail.com, with use of Google Docs and the ability to pay for added storage space space

With this decision, you can store "Office" type documentation like .doc, .ppt, and .xls into your Google Docs storage space and images into your Google Picasa storage.

All Cloud Hero functionality such as drag and drop, auto sync and auto login work as normal.
However you CAN NOT store other files sorts such as music, video, zipped documentation or Quickbooks documents.

2. A Google Premier Apps Account

All Cloud Hero functionality is offered for a Google Premier Apps Account, including storage of ALL file kinds, music, data, video, zip, html, Quickbook-qbb, Quicken etc. - really you can store ANY FILE TYPE

Steps to create a a Google Premier Apps Account:

* You need to have your own domain name (your own website)
The Premier Apps account does NOT work with a normal Gmail.com electronic mail account
However, if you don't have your own domain name, you get get one from Google for $10 a year.

* It will cost to setup a Google Premier Apps account, but the result (with Cloud Hero) is effortless to use and very low-cost storage space

If you already have your own domain name, the cost will be less. Of course there are other benefits to the Google Premier Apps account such as 25Gb of email storage space per account vs. the 7GB of storage space for a free Gmail.com electronic mail account.
